I used to go out every now and then, shit's mostly wack. I usually drive through, people mean mug, then I leave.

Some old guy was waxing his totally stock corvette whilst displaying trophies around his car with the hood up last time I was there. You have those kinds of people and you have ricers, nothing really in between.

So what exactly is between a stock corvette and ricers? Seems like 2 different levels of 2 different leagues.

Theres plenty of in between, whatever the hell you may consider that to be.

Well, a stock vette that's kept immaculate over the years can have a lot in common with an older import that someone's taken the time to build- they've both put a lot of passion (I know-supergayess) into their car. They spend a lot of hands on time with it. Ricers are on the opposite end of the spectrum- they won't spend the money on quality parts and they won't spend the time on the research or on learning to fabricate stuff that will actually make their car better- either performance-wise or for looks. The in-between is me. I don't feel like tucking all my wires but I've put blood sweat and beers into my car. I'll spend the cash, I'll do the research but I get lazy sometimes on the dress-up.

Out of that whole statement, you never once even hinted a direct answer to my question.

As I stated, its 2 levels of 2 different leagues. Sure there can be differences. There is still stock and modified, and modified properly or riced out. Simple as that.

    Re: Bass Pro

I'm sorry, I should have worded my sentence more clearly. What I meant to say was that there aren't people who really put time and effort into their cars. The stock corvette shows the side of people who buy cars and leave them, the ricers modify their cars with cheap parts. The middle is people who put time into their cars with performance oriented legit parts.

That being said,I guess that's where I fall. Since there are so few others in that category at Bass Pro, I usually don't stay because I can't talk to people that understand what and why I have done things to my car. Some people will look at my car and see that it's got quality parts and work put into it, but people who are dumb (most of the people that frequent bass pro) don't see that. They see gauges and a cage and think that it's just for looks.

So any of the SAGE auto cars that were there this past Saturday must be ricer then with ebay parts and LEDs.

Shit man, my entire opinion of nicely modified vehicles just went down the toilet thanks to you...

    Re: Bass Pro

Wait what? I haven't been to Bass Pro in 2 months, I had no clue that SAGE had been there.

I also said "most," meaning not all. Most of the cars that I have seen at Bass Pro are rice. Also, nowhere in my post did I mention ebay or led's.

I'm only speaking from my experience. I didn't realize I had to put a disclaimer out with every post I make.

I think you need to make a trip out this saturday.

There is plenty of "In between" cars out there now. And surprisingly not a whole lot of rice.
