After finding out my slave cylinder was leaking. and had to be replaced. i decided to check everything else and see if there was anything else that needed replacing. So i could just get it all done at the same time.
So when i went to check the spark plugs i found this.
So after that i decided to take my valve cover off to check for any more problems and i found this.
So im gonna be rebuilding my head.
ill post more pics as it goes.

Common problem with older AP1's. The spark plugs back out, and the compression gets by. I have a spare coil or 2 at my shop. They also make a "spark plug thread" repair kit for when this happens, if it messed up the head.
the second cylinder head, its burnt up.
ill take some better pics tomorrow.
oh well if thats the case just heli-coil it and call it a day...
i have done many on expeditions and navigators...it has always held up for years down the road..
You only have one cylinder head, bud.
Come and get that coil whenever. I'm at work M-F til about 5.
I don't think anyone makes any cam gears for a S2000, I could be wrong though.
The only thing I would change is the retainers.![]()
