Default 757 MTB Riders (Singletrack, Cross-Country, Whatever)

Searched, and I didn't see a thread less than a couple years old, so...

I'm starting to ride after a few years' hiatus. I'm no pro (by any means), quite the amateur, in fact...just out doing it for the good time and the fitness. There's a fixed gear thread, but is there any interest in doing the same sort of rides with MTBers? Going out alone day after day can get old, it'd be nice to ride with some people every now and again. We have some decent trails in the area. Obviously nothing full downhill or ridiculously challenging, but tough enough.

I'll see if I can borrow a rig and we can go riding. I'm not pro by anymeans either but I'm sure we can have fun.

Newport News has some decent back trails. Williamsburg and Yorktown get a bit better as far as trails go.

What type of bike do you have?

Newport news sucks. Williamsburg's freedom park is pretty bad ass. Jumps and different obstacles. The weather is getting cooler so less and less people ride everyday. Id be down to go and I know a couple of people I work with would be as well.

like i said, beginner. my idea of sucks is probably a little different from yours (: and since i'm doing it for fitness more than anything else, a mild trail doesn't bother me much. i can just ride it a couple more times.
