Re: AMERICAN INDOOR KARTING VA BEACH IS NOW OPEN FOR BUSINESS
Well I went for the first time today. 1st race my fastest time was 19.599. Second race my fastest time was 19.087 and my average was 19.603. 3rd race, I got stuck with a bunch of Navy dudes, lapped all 5 of them 4 times but never could get a few clean laps to get into a groove. I liked the track, yea it was short, but still fun.
I'm curious though. When you were looking to move to the beach, did you look into any other locations? an 8 theater movie theater is kinda small. Not 5 miles down the road is a huge as Ames that has been out of business since 1990 something.

Re: AMERICAN INDOOR KARTING VA BEACH IS NOW OPEN FOR BUSINESS
Went back Friday night cause I was bored. First race I was in traffic the entire damn race, couldn't get a clean lap. For whatever reason, they told me to stay on as soon as I got up and I went by myslef right after that and broke into the 18's. Fastest was 18.865. I really don't know if I can get any faster without losing weight. haha "Racin Jason" ran a 18.196 and I probably have 130lbs on him.

I'm heading there now for a couple races.
Edit: I went faster, but not much. 18.814 with traffic. I went my myself the next race and got a cart down on horsepower. The entire time I was driving the thing, I was thinking "Either a: this is really fast or this is quite slow". Cart handled perfectly, but that was only because it was so damn slow. fastest was a 19.210. 29 laps and my average was 19.524.
So beware of cart #8, haha. And I don't know if it is news to anyone, but there is at least 1 person in the 17's, Kart Ninja

I know it's an old thread, but this is the first time I've been able to get in there in a while and I simply can't understand how you guys are getting into the 18s let alone 19s. I always seem to get stuck at 20.013. Somebody told me not to brake when coming up to the turns, but to snap the wheel and slide around it.
