Another very good steak house style restaurant that I haven't seen anyone mention yet is Riverstone Chophouse. It's in the Harbour View section of Suffolk. It's my go to restaurant for special occasions. I would much rather go to this place over Ruth's Chris anyday.

service isn't always the best, though...sometimes it's downright bad for the prices you pay. food is definitely good.

my top 3 would be zoe's, vintage tavern, byrd & baldwin brothers. no particular order.

it just was, that nite must have been a bust or they hired a bunch of new people or something. The cold food...was warm and saugy...I dont know about you but I dont like a hot slimy ceasar salad...the hot food, was cold like it sat waiting for 45 minutes to be brought to the table, the pork chops that they said were amazing were not only cold, but dry as fuck and I had a hard time swallowing it, oh and it took 2 hours for the pork chops to come without any explanation from the waiter or the manager even after I asked WTF....I didnt get my 7 and 7 that I ordered from the bar and we only saw the waiter 1 time after we initally were sat down and were there for 3 hours, and the desert that we ordered seemed to be made with sour cream and chives....thats what happened and it was not pleasant.
