Default Any good Mountain Bike trails in the area?

I live in VB and the only place I know that has "trails" is First Landing Park.

Does anyone know of any other parks/trails that are decent?

ehh I've been on the newport news park trails a few times, they're pretty mild trails, but if you take the trail that forks off to the "george washington cabin" or whatever it's called, you can find some trails that are a little more challenging.

Freedom Park in W'burg or York River State Park are the only "difficult" ones around here I know of.

There is nothing worth riding out in Va Beach, Norfolk, Ches or Suffolk. There are a lot of nice trails when you head up towards Williamsburg. The closest one is Gatewood, which is right on Lake Maury in Newport News on Warwick Blvd. Nice Trail about 8 miles if you do the full loop. Yorktown has Harwood Mills, then Williamsburg has a bunch. Freedom Park, York River State Park, New Quarter Park.

dont even waste you time with Ipswich anymore. it's so overgrown now, and unmaintained that its almost unridable. plus, there are lots of obstacles missing now too.

in first landing you really have to go out of your way to find some semi difficult stuff.

the state park out in black water has some decent trails
