man i use to camp a lot my family loves to camp, i just kinda got tired of it but the best camping place i've to around here was in VA beach at the First Landing and also in that area but on the other side of the bridge in the eastern shore there is the Kiptopeke park both of those are state parks so they are very cheap to stay.

yea we posted pics from it last year, it was a blast. Granted my house down there was 2 streets over so it was kinda hard to sleep on the ground knowing i had a nice bed waiting for me.

Pretty sure this years trip will be much larger than it was even last year.

You should check out Chincoteague Island, there's a bunch of places there to camp. Maybe go when they swim the ponies. There's a website: http://www.chincoteague.com/

Hatteras I sland is am awesome place to camp..KOA is really expensive look for the smaller campgrounds.. I have a 6-7 person tent with a screened in front porch we used it down there. it is awesome has alot of space and a front porch to sit on if the bugs get bad I am 6foot1 and can stand in it. I also have a queen size air mattress that has two air chambers so it is like a box spring and mattress you are off the ground like a foot has its own pump . pm me if you are interested we don't really camp anymore and it is taking up room I will sell it cheap

This could be really dumb but, I was at Sandy Bottom Nature Park and somewhere along one of those trails I was walking, has a mini camp ground, its pre-set up tents on the lake with a fire pit already there and chopped wood and stuff if you wanted to look into that?
