There was a thread a while back with all of the places covered by current/former students.

Expect to pay at least $130 a month.

I think they don't have one in Norfolk check it out.

I went to capital jj a few times last summer. They were cool but paying 150 a month plus another 150 just for a gi is a bit much.

The school that I mention above is a really good one. All the trainers are black belt on what they do, plus Mario is sometimes is a referee on some of the UFC fight. I was told by a friend to go there and it really caught my attention.

im looking to improve my standup game, i have tons of training in grappling and ground/pound. submission not so much

Linx is awesome, i have taken some classes with those guys at work and they have a great reputation. It's based around stand up, some grappling and mixes them together well.

i can't tell you about the cost as i get to train free, but it's good stuff.
