anyone wanna make $400?
i have a 1993 z28 camaro with the Lt1 350 in it... i have been told it needs a new headgasket and maybe a valve job to...
i have no experiance in this at all otherwise i would attempt it myself... but if anyone is interested please PM me... thanks
OR
if anyone knows of a place that will do it for pretty cheap i'd appreciate it.

Re: anyone wanna make $400?
i'd do it but im really busy with school and work.
ive replaced LT1 head gaskets before, and will tell you that it is very straight forward. with a little bit of assistance, A HAYNES OR CHILTON MANUAL and good tools, you can do it in a day. some of the intake manifold bolts are tricky to reach, and the exhaust manifolds are a little tricky to remove. soak your exhaust manifold bolts in PB blaster non-stop for a day or two before you begin the removal. label and bag seperately ALL of your bolts, and scrape the deck surface clean of all of the previous head gasket and you will be fine.
when i did my first LT1 head gasket replacement, i had never done one on any application and it went pretty smoothly. it just takes a while.
but... if you are dead set on having someone else do them, head over to www.tidewaterracing.com and maybe post this in the GM forum. there are quite a few LT1 gurus over there and maybe if youre lucky a few of them will need some extra dough.
good luck
