Philly Steak on Tidewater.....best philly steaks period in this area, they get their bread imported from Philly due to the fact that during the baking process the water used for the bread in Philly is so dirty it gives the bread a certain flavor that Norfolk water doesnt.

I work there part time. The one on military highway. The pastrami is the shit. I am trying to get a 25% vadriven discount. 
I dont know if it has been said already but Nick's Hot Dogs in portsmouth has some pretty good sandwiches. Its a little hole in the wall place but there club sandwich is awesome.
