So I have a 2g turbo eclipse that isn't revving past 2k, help on Internet suggested a boost leak is a major possibilities, anyone have any problem like this and took it to a shop? Or any suggestions of shops that work on turbo'd cars? I'm looking for one preferably in Newport news/York/poqouson. So any recommendation would be very helpful, thank you.

Any of the local dsm'rs would help you out on this side of the water. Make a boost leak tester, the instructions are on vfaq.com which should be your dsm bible. Join vadsm.com there's alot of use in the 757. I would help you out personally but I'm in a little bind at the moment.
Is it stock if not what are your mods please?

What are the issue other than wont rev past 2k? Make your own Boost leak tester as I will almost bet that is the issue.. Quick way to check without making a tester is to get some brake clean start the car up if itll idle and then spray the couplers, vaccum hoses, injectors, manifolds, and anyplace you can think it may leak and see if it dies or stumbles and that should help narrow it down... Built motor could be a different issue as something may be messing up internally but 90% sure its boost leak

Propane is a much better idea than brake clean. It doesnt eat rubber. The boost leak tester is pretty much a PVC end cap with a damn valve stem in it. Shouldn't cost more than $5 to make one.

if you can't make and test for boost leaks, you probably shouldn't own a dsm in the first place...it's seriously 5 dollars and an air compressor.

lol, a 70mm turbo is not a basic turbo setup. Check for boost leaks, then move on to tuning issues. My money is on tuning with a setup like that. Also, sorry to be a dick, but what are you doing with a car like that if you can't diagnose a boost leak? That sounds like a 500+hp car easily...
