I can do rims and valve covers and more.

I charge $45/ea to POWDER COAT 15" rims and smaller. Tack on $10 per 1" for larger rims.

I would charge $25 a peice to just sandblast them.

thanks but no offense, that still seems like a lot. I had a friend who used to have his own equipment and I did my own and it was really quick and easy. For $10 per wheel I might reconsider.

A reputable shop can do them for about what he quoted.

thats a damn good deal considering the labor hours alone. I would charge that or higher.

I understand what you are saying, but there is a cost involved here.

It takes about 45 minutes to completely sandblast a rim. Also it cost about $6 per # for CHEAP blasting media. It takes about 2 #s to blast a rim.

Do the math. $25 is cheap.
