Ya, I am looking at all the options. Cox is expensive as shit now. How did cable internet go UP in price in the years?! Isn't stuff like that supposed to go down?! 42/month for 5mbit?! wtf.
And I can't get FiOS where I'm at yet.

Ya, Never had a problem with them when I had them here either. Except that it was 20 dollars a month cheaper. Verizon needs to create some damn competition because thats monopolistic right there.

cox internet is great for me

capped at aroudn 650kb download.....and for smaller files it makes your pipe big for about 20 seconds...its odd, i think they did it to compete with the fio's.


If it makes any sense, like my first 20-30 seconds of downloading will be over 1.5 megs a sec....then it will go down to normal speed.

Have never lost "internet" with COX. My laptop doesn't connect to my wireless router sometimes. I just reset the router. I need to get a new one.
