Crusing around Pungo
Hey whats up, I've heard of this place but never been down there.
Anyone up for a cruise around the area to show a new guy around?
Sunday Evening would be best.

Just go driving, there's nothing really down there but houses and its really one main road with minor side roads that split off of it.
I actually just got back from a 3 hour drive that included Princess Anne Rd (THE pungo road) all the way down to Knotts Island to the ferry and back.
My advise is to try Blackwater instead, its much more fun that Princess Anne, although its more rough.

I used to live about 4 miles past the Blackwater market and yes, they do indeed sell glass bottle cokes with a bottle opener in the store. Have you been past the fire house yet? There is what appears to be a forest directly behind the station, but it is a crazy slalom of curves and bends. I have to work early Monday morning, but if you would like to go Sunday morning then I will gladly go.

Yeah I went all the way past the firehouse until Blackwater turns into gravel. That first turn after the firehouse is tight. I also went all the way down Indian Creek right next to the firehouse until I hit the bypass.
But I was talking about the Market in Knotts Island, I've actually never been to the market on Blackwater, I'll have to make a stop there next time I go driving.
I'd love to go sunday but it's supposed to pour all weekend.
