Converting to a 03 cobra is a very expensive project. It is cheaper to just buy one. If you are dead set on getting a 4v, get one out of a Lincoln marl VIII, build the motor, bolt on a procharger and you will make more power than your dumb ass can handle.

i guess i could have rephrased the post to "Difference in the 2002 Mustang GT 4.6L and 03-04 Mustang Cobra 4.6L"
Or i could have searched wikipedia like i always do and did. Seeing as how they break down the modifications Ford added to the car each year. See what differences they did to the 1999-2001 Cobra vs the GT Mustang and then the differences from the 1999-2001 vs the 2003-2004 Cobra. Add them all together and I have my parts list. However, going from SOHC to DOHC might be an issue.

Let me spell it out for you nicely in things that you will need to make your GT into a Fobra
Body Kit
Engine
Transmission
IRS
Brakes
Interior pieces
Gauges
Cobra VIN #
Exhaust
Cost of doing all that? More then it's worth. You might as well sell your GT and buy a Cobra since the cost is prohibitive.
That being said before, if you put a Cobra bodykit on your GT, you'll look like a complete dipshit anyway especially if you use the rear fascia and don't fill in the "COBRA" or if you use any Cobra emblems.
