Does anyone kno how or who can repair a torpedo heater.

Default Does anyone kno how or who can repair a torpedo heater.

my junt ignites like its trynaa come on and the fan blows but it wont fully engauge then it blows the internal breaker.if any1 on site does this kinda work ill pay what its worth to fix it. its like a 50,000 or 500,000 btu 1 of em.

Is it a Readyheater brand by chance? I've had 2 of them do it. My issue was the fuel filter on both of them. I had to order them, it all comes in a kit. They're really simple if you just pull the top cover off, you'll see the injector and everything. There's nothing too complicated about them.

i dont think so but ill check i think its 1 of the olderstyles.i rentted my shop out to a dude to paint his car an all of a sudden it didnt wrk.i think he mighta stuck gas in it but he never said.imma try that out tho.

If it's red it's more than likely a Reddyheater. If he used gas there could be a bigger problem.

its brown and orange,it old but it looks pretty simple. worse case if he used gas it can it be flushed and new parts added?

In theory, I suppose so. I've never seen one that had gas ran through it so I'm not sure what kind of damage it could cause.

if he ran gas through it, your gonna need to flush the entire thing with kerosene and then change the filter
