Does TCC offer a photography class ?
I was wondering because I'm getting the wife a really nice cam for christmas and I think she is going to love it but photography will be new to her and she would need class 101 
. Also does anyone know how much this class would run price wise ?

yes, they do. a few. i'm not sure they're worthwhile, but hey...they won't cost any more per credit hour than any other course.
only the ones with blogs are pros.

Yeah I'm going to try and look into it and see whats up. But any knowledge towards anything would help. I mean I doubt she would even know how to turn a good one on.

Look on CL for classes and tutorials. There should be local groups that do weekend "training" and walk about shooting. Even the library hosts classes for this stuff.

The idea of a photography class astounds me. Everything worthwhile that a class could teach you you could learn in 10 minutes from a friend who knows what he's doing. Everything else you have to learn on your own.
