You can do the same thing online and sit at your house for 8 hours instead of in a classroom. The only problem is you can't click thru it too fast or it will just keep giving you more questions. Just set a timer and surf the net or something, then come back when it's time to finish each section. I went and took the open book test at a store, I think it was office max or something. It's been several years since I did it. Wearing the mp3 player during class is good.. doing it at home is even better.

i would personally recommend Old Dominion driving school, I went there for driver educations and driver improvement a few times, its very slack ass.
