Anyone have experience with any of these?
http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Buff...Court&2z=23453
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=14213%...N&hl=en&tab=wl
(there are 2 routes on the second link).
advantage of the first being that it seems to avoid DC traffic. I'll probably be leaving some time between 11am or 1pm, depending if my m contours have been clearcoated/dried a couple days by my buddy (then I have to get my tires mounted and throw them on).
suggestions appreciated, thanks

Thats the big question. Also depends on time of day you will be approaching D.C. As long as you avoid the beltway around 3-7pm you should be ok. It's just too bad the NJ Turnpike is so far away from you, otherwise 13 would be a straight shot.

Take method 1. Shorter, prettier, and guaranteed to avoid the traffic (the other methods I'd say if you left at 1pm you'd miss the traffic, but you'd be on the tail end of it just as you hit DC so it would be a small gamble).

When I go home (Rochester) I take rt13 up to Philly then catch 81 somwhere around there....then the thruway when I get up to Syracuse. It is the round about way...but my sister in law lives in delaware so we usually stop there. If we drove straight it would prolly take about 9 hours.....add the hour it would take to get to Buffalo and there ya go...lol
Like so:

It never takes 12 hours though.....I don't kow where that came from. 4 hours up to Delaware and 5 up to NY eveytime.
