Gordon Beer
Opened last Monday in VB town center. Nice place, plenty of bar area and area to sit outside and drink. Lots of items on the menu.
The beer
Their hefeweizen is very good! Smooth...I highly recommend. We got the sampler, their brewing 5 beers right now, from light to dark.

Re: Gordon Beer
I've been to the one in DC mutliple times. They've got some killer beers and they're brewed right in the resturaunt. Even the root beer is bad ass!
Their garlic fries are probably the best. I'm actually surprised to see them open up in this area. I now rub it in my ex's face that I'm less then 10 minutes away from GB and she has to go all the way into DC (she lives in Rockville, MD) to go.

Yeah, ive been wanting to go to this place for a while. The founders were on Mike and Bob and I think I heard them say that the sampler was free? I probably heard wrong.

Re: Gordon Beer
The beer sampler just gives you an idea of what the beer tastes like. Funny thing I thought the Hef was alright, got the big glass it was a lot better, can't explain that one.
When I went it was not crowded, so light they had last call at 1:20. Don't know about the bands, only been there once and they just opened. The place is still getting its feet wet, the girls were drinking Sangria, they ran out, they were out of some other stuff too that night. Sure once they get settled they'll be straight.
Oh they also said they were going to start selling the beer for takeout, I think something like those little Heiniken "kegs" you can get at the grocery store.
