The problem isn't the tunnel itself, it's the merging traffic from the on ramps just before. Shit needs to be 3 lanes all the way back to Granby street.

Thats not going to help when you still have to merge into a 2 lane tunnel. There will still be a bottle neck somewhere.

And people should be certified to drive through the tunnel. I hate dumbasses that slow down to like 30mph just because they get freaked out.
