HRBT West Bound Closed
I found out as I was going over it east bound
17 seems the best way to get back as the monitor merrimack is backed up pretty much all the way down 664.
(For those of you traveling that way, get off onto portsmouth blvd west (left) then take a Right onto Shoulders Hill rd, then a left onto Rt17

Re: HRBT West Bound Closed
As of 2:15 p.m., all of the water on the roadway inside the HRBT had been removed. The right lane is now opened to traffic. The speed limit has been reduced to 25 MPH from bridge to bridge.
VDOT closed the westbound tube of the I-64 Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel aat 6:30 this morning due to a malfunctioning water main pump.
Crews believe the water main pump malfunction may have been caused by the severe storm last night and resulting power outage. Approximately four inches of standing of water had seeped onto the roadway from one of the pump houses.

Fuck the hrbt....lucky me I didn't know about what was going on, so I got right onto 64 westbound after work. It took me 3 hours to get from the Norfolk naval base to the tunnel.
