yeah apparently since traffic was so fucked up, VDOT decides to tell everyone to get off at my exit, so i had to get off like 6 exits earlie, and cut threw norfolk. on my way back, i did the same thing, cut through a buncha side streets and missed like 2+hours worth of traffic. thank god for GPS's

Like, how do you people not know about this kinda stuff during the course of the day? I heard from like 10 different people about how backed up the HRBT was, the MMBT was, not even including what I heard on the radio.

My roommate was stuck in traffic today from about 3 until 7:30 when he got home. And they were not turning anyone around. Needless to say he was pissed.

Yea I enjoyed this. I don't know my way around norfolk too well and this is the first day I didn't bring my gps. So lets just say I could have gone to Baltimore in the time it took to get to the peninsula...

I left for work at 6:30 AM and got there at 9:30 am (ocean view to the tunnel)! Then they had us turn around so ocean view got packed, and a 20 mile back up to the mmbt.

It doesn't help that they have the biggest idiots in the world working in/on the tunnels and making traffic decisions....
