Re: Hybrid Martial Arts Academy
Tonight will be my first class, I'm pretty happy with everything thus far.
I'm only in the beginners class so it's not 100% what I want but from what I've seen, as you progress your training progresses with you. Sparring is intense along with CSW.
Can't wait to test for level 2 to start sparring and get full contact.
Really enjoying the workout as well.

Re: Hybrid Martial Arts Academy
ive heard that hybrid gets really repetitive, in the beginner classes anyways. a friend told me that whenever someone new shows up the whole class will go back to doing the same 1st day shit. i dont know if its true but it seemed reasonable compared to hybrid is gay or for pussies

Re: Hybrid Martial Arts Academy
I've only been to three classes and everything was new. Same stretches etc.. but the principles are the same that is why it's the "beginners" class.
As far as technique.. every night has been different.
As for the other classes.. they are constantly progressing.. the trainer caught me up to speed and the partners were very helpful as well.

Re: Hybrid Martial Arts Academy
HTC is an amazing place to train i trained there for 5 yrs and would still be if i didnt move. Brandon Vera came out of there David Caplin trained there, Locally known Antwain The juggernaut Britt and many more. Hybrid is a great place to train trust me, it is no contact at first but you have to learn technic and control before you start sparring with ppl. They also have a fight team and have recently merged with a crossfit gym. Eastern is ok but hybrid is better I was around when they started I know from experience and not from what ppl have told me
