I just had my wedding ceremony and reception last month at Granby Theater in Norfolk and everything went off perfect.
They can provide the catering, DJ, etc. too if needed, or you can go with your own.
We were very happy with them.

Attended a wedding and reception there before. The pictures come out great, which is one of the things a lot of brides only care about, but when you're outside on a patio or deck taking a break from the music and what not, there are planes CONSTANTLY flying overhead and it was kind of annoying to me.
Also, if you're wedding is on the tourist "off season" and you are wanting to book now you should be able to land some kick ass deals down at the Oceanfront. You can get packages for everything from transportation from the wedding to the reception and blocks of rooms at local hotels for great deals. Contact the Norfolk Convention and Visitor's Bureau and Virginia Beach's, too. They can help you get pointed in the right direction.

This is where the Queen chilled at when she visited a few months ago...you didn't specify $$$ and they have on-site event planners. If you really want to do it up and not have to worry about anything... this is the way to go:
