Re: I'm Korey. New to VAD
Thanks for the warm welcome!
I gotta know though, how do you go from all RWD cars to all FWD like that? I mean, I have a huge respect for honda engineering (at least until a few years ago). However, the lack of RWD offerings kind of gives me a huge lack of interest in the brand until you go back to the 80s. Yes, I'd love to have an NSX but they're still a bit pricy.
I do dig how changing engines in a honda is similar to changing engines in a lego car, and the wishbone suspensions and whatnot, but I still can't say I know any 80s Toyota fans who then turned to Hondas.
Not knocking the brand or peoples loyalties to it, its just not my slice of pie and I'm curious what made you convert?

I like a bit of both. As far as I'm concerned Honda makes the best FF cars on the market. I've had 3 AW11s, 3 AE86 (GT-Ss, not converted SR-5s) and I'm currently building a SW20. On the other hand I've had like 5 Civics (EG/EK) and 4 Integras (DC2/4). Sometimes the issue of parts availability can suck (let's face it...MR2s are a very niche community) compared to the Hondas limitless marketplace. It's just cheaper to similarly mod a Honda vs. a mid 80s to late 90s Toyota.
Here's a few shots of my first AW11:

Oh, cool. I have a reputation now.
Thats a nice deuce man, I like the Super Advans. Silvertop is nice too, I got to ride in a silvertop aw11 at the mr2 bear mtn meet.
And I actually like the lack of parts ability because it's cool to make your own stuff. I learned more putting together my Ground Control setup than I would have just slapping on a set of $300 coilovers from ebay. And when you do all your own custom stuff you don't have to worry about having the same thing as anyone.
