NO SMOG! Then why the hell did I get cats??? Do they do they hook the scanner to the car's computer, and just not do the sniffer, or nothing at all? My car is registered in NC and they don't do a sniffer, but they do a visual and a PC check.

they just do a visual check. i passed by saying the "box" where my prochamber was (just a square crossover kinda like an x-pipe) was my "aftermarket high flow cat). he just shrugged, said theres a zillion different aftermarket parts for mustangs and went about the inspection. it kinda helped my car only had like 20K miles too.
