My company is hiring for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Support reps in Virginia Beach, VA.

We're looking for people who possess a strong willingness to help, good communication skills, and a love for computers and the web. Linux experience is a plus. Individuals who have worked with Linux in the past or who run Linux on their home computer are often a good fit for our team. If this is you, we look forward to hearing from you. Background in technical support is not required, but it is very helpful.

Requirements:

* Working knowledge of web browsers, FTP, POP/IMAP, domain names, etc.
* Loves to use Linux and a desire to learn more
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Desire to provide exceptional customer service

Preferred Skill Sets:

* Knowledge of web hosting as a user.
* Strong, working knowledge of the Linux File System and navigation of the Linux command line
* Experience with Cpanel and Web Host Manager (WHM)
* Installation and modification of Apache, Bind, DNS, PHP, MySQL, Perl
* Experience with scripting - HTML, PHP/MySQL, Perl, CGI, etc

Duties:

* Provide support to customers over the phone, email, and chat
* Assist customers with web site problems such as software integration, FTP, site building, and email
* Our technical support reps are our company's personal representatives to our clients. The right candidate will always have a strong desire to learn, help, have fun, and will go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
