KA-T or SR20DET
well you see i have 2 options for myself right now and i dont know what to do.
i can pick up a KA turbo kit for about $4000:
- T3/T4 .48 AR Turbine .50 AR Compressor 50 or 57 Trim Stage III Wheel, Turbonetics turbine housing
- Flow bench designed and tested tubular stainless steel manifold
- 3" flowbench tested downpipe w/ o2 sensor bung installed
- 38mm External Wastegate
- 2.25" Stainless Steel Intercooler Charge Pipes (Short Routed)
- Custom built intercooler w/ extruded Garrett Core 24" X 6" x 2.75"
- 25mm Recirculating Blow off Valve or 35mm Atmospheric
- Stainless Oil Feed, Return, fittings and weld-on bung for oil pan
- Air Intake Filter w/ Maf Adapter
- All Silicone Boots
- Boost Designs top-feed fuel rail
- RC Engineering 52lb injectors
- RC Engineering clips for injectors
- Aeroquip fuel feed and return lines and fittings
- Fuel pressure regulator
- Walbro 255lph fuel pump
- Clutch Specialities 6-puck Stage 3 clutch w/ sprung center, dual pressure plate diaphragm, throwout bearing and pilot bushing and alignment tool. It is good for 550 ft.lbs of torque
- Factory rods shotpeened and balanced good for 450 rwhp (core charge extra)
- 9:1 forged pistons with rings, wrist pins and clips
- ENTHALPY TUNED ECU S14
or i can pick up an sr20det for about $2500
just trying to make the final decision and thought i would get everyone's input.

Re: KA-T or SR20DET
i would have went with a KA-T if i got that 240 i wanted, the SR20DET is used too much, and i hear if done right the KA is a lot faster than the SR swap...
