Looking To Rent A Dock
I am looking to rent a dock/slip for work.
Wether its your personal one or one at a marina. I'm sure you're wondering why I don't just go down to Ocean View and rent a slip or whatever... most places like that don't like commercial use.. it is a bit more difficult.
Here's the deal, I am a commercial waterman. The dock would be rented out seasonal, and if needed longer we could discuss later.
Ramp is not needed but preferrred.
Would need to be available 24/7 (mostly 6am - 6pm... but occasionaly needed other times)
Newport News, Hampton, or Norfolk ONLY. Closer to hampton bar, the better.
We already have a slip in downtown Newport News, Isle of Wight, and Williamsburg, but keeping my options open to get rid of our Newport News one.
Dock would be to be immediatly accessible by vehicle (contact me anyways if it is not, and we can talk)
And just incase if it matters, the boats (5) are 2012-2013 24'-27' Skiffs that are maintained and kept clean by me after every use, not an eyesore. We occasionaly change out boats.
And not that this should be needed to be added but just incase EVERYTHING is LEGAL. Boats are registered, insured, '13 licenses openly displayed, no illegal fish, nothing sketchy just looking for a better spot.

I take it you've tried Willoughby and Hampton? I know the owner of Thomas Marina in Seaford but don't think that does you any good :P What sort of draft do you have?

Re: Looking To Rent A Dock
draft? referring to what I am after? amount? or what? Not really sure what that meant.
We are actually getting a spot in downtown Hampton next week but I was really hoping I could find something personal so that I wouldn't have to be around other waterman... people like to get sticky fingers which is a problem we are having in Williamsburg.

Correct. I've been doing this since December. Technically this is my dad's company, I just do my part. If I was that worried about needing to know I could of easily made a phone call. But I'm here for a dock, nothing more.
