loud clicking noises in head
my head makes a loud clicking noise upon cold start but goes away when warmed up. but then it will do it when i rev it. i think its the rocker arms or valves. ive adjusted valves, used lucas oil stabilizer stuff, compression tested (180 all the way across). i dont know what else to do? and i was hoping someone with more experience could come take a look at this. im in va beach and cant drive the car. if you can help text me please (757)202-9822

Re: loud clicking noises in head
I have heard of this happening on high mileage Honda B18A and B18B's. Problem was typically from worn out valve springs. You could always pull your valve cover, measure the valve spring installed and then measure again uninstalled. You will need this tool to keep air pressure in the cylinder. It keeps the valve from dropping into the cylinder so you don't have to remove the head.

* Flexibility reaches spark plug holes in out-of-the-way, confined or isolated areas
* 1/4" female fitting for attachment to air hose and a dual 14mm/18mm end which screws into spark plug port
* O-ring seals provide an air tight fit
* 13-3/4" long
