Have you thought about getting the proper compressor housing and a divided turbine housing? You're playing around with some things that are generally design features and not modifications of a different starting design.

Why spend twice the money on buying a housing when I can get it machined to match?

And there are NJ divided housings for what I'm looking for but no I didnt search cause it is a broad topic being machine work so figured id ask...

Depends on the results you want. Do you want good results, or do you want results that cost a fraction of the cost?

And you're talking about welding a divider into a cast iron turbine housing. If you don't know why that's not going to work very well, you should keep doing research.

Well the divider isn't a must but id like to have to have it done... Putting a new wheel into a housing isn't a huge deal as long as it is machined properly. Just cause something is cheaper doesn't mean its inferior.

The divder I have seen done before with good results and I know its a pain but cast iron can be welded and made. Plenty have welded flanges on manifold, etc so no lecture needed here.

The turbine housing is designed around whether it is a divided scroll or not. Welding a divider doesn't make it into a proper divided scroll, it just makes it a single scroll with a divider added. Not the same.

I'm pretty much done arguing this though, rig up whatever you feel like to put on your car.

I wasn't making it into a twin scroll turbine housing... I wanted to make a divider that goes inbetween the turbine wheel and wastegate flapper so I can run am EWG off the housing/DP instead of having to patch it into the uppipe and run all that piping to reroute it back into the exhaust...

Sorry if it was a little misunderstood to what I wanted to accomplish. Now I see why you though it was not gunna work haha

Ah, gotcha. You could also weld the wastegate divider into the downpipe (protruding into the turbine housing past the downpipe flange) if that's an easier solution.
