I love lake tahoe. When I lived in cali. I would go there every winter/summer. A great place to live and lots of great people there.

I know when I went to the BVI to be honest it hind of sucked to me.I went to the abbaco's. They dont even have phones on the islands (in the abbacos) .And the only way to contact anyone is by vhf radio. They dont even have running water. The only way you get water is if and when it rained it goes into this big holding tank and that is where you get your water from. I was really really quiet there. I think it was 2 damn quiet and nothing to do. But one of the cool things was the guy that owned the house next to us was the owner of the miami dolphins and he flew in almost every day on the water on his private plane. But that is just my 2cents on the BVI's

Not "countryish", but Vancouver Canada = amazing... Moutains in every direction you look in the city... Plus theres Whistler which is awsome also.

BVI= great paying cocaine runner tahoe work at ski resorts and the same with BC but they dont like to hire americans

Upstate NY/Vermont/NH
Doesn't get much more country or quaint than New England or Upstate NY. And there are big cities practically next to some of the most beautiful country communities. I like Upstate NY the best, but Vermont and NH would be better for the job aspect.
