my car got hit.
my car got hit while sitting on the parking lot. witness left a note with liscence plate and description of the vehicle. damage is substantial, it is not totaled or something like that but definitely is not a scuff mark.
what can i do ??
if i go to the police, will they even really bother to look for the car based on the liscence plate i have or will they just fill out a report and move on to more "important" things ??

if a WITNESS saw the car HIT YOU and got the plates, the cop will arrest them, not looking for them...............
you will get your car fixed...........

I don't understand why people don't call the cops anyways? Most insurance companys want a police report don't they?
