Then again, I guess some people like 40 grit sanding scratches in their aluminum valve cover... WOOOOOOOOO textured valve covers!

haha yeah, i mean Ive done all this to the parts on my integra so im not just coming straight out of nowhere trying to fuck up peoples parts, ive painted my valve cover purple and it looks great, and my intake pipe purple, it looks really good. i just thought if i like im sure there would be people willing to pay to get theirs looking good as-well

no no, the reason i use such rough grit is because it helps the paint stick alot better. and im usually using 80grit but i used 40grit on my cover because its what i already had

As far as I know I still know how to do body work, boss... And you DO NOT use 40 grit or even 80 grit on a valve cover...

If you'd like I can get one of our resident paint guys in here and shut you up...

Why not now bro? I got pics of most of the work I've ever done on my PB... Go look if you think I don't know what I'm talkin about...
when i did my head cover with 180grit it looked great, the only picture i have is of the first one i ever did and it doesnt look that great. the other one i have on my motor looks pretty nice
