Hall Pontiac worked on my lightly modified GTO. With a blower, i dont think you're gonna have much luck.

global OBDII is not body, it is purely SAE standards for GENERIC code pulling. its practically worthless in 98% of diagnostic approaches.
CEL yes, but not the service vehicle light. this particular model has a service engine soon, service vehicle soon, and change oil soon light, in addition to several others.
no shit. they dont have anything to access the BCM. as of right now, the only thing that will access the BCM and be worth a damn is a Tech II.

See if you can get a dealer to simply read the code for you. www.ls1gto.com will be a lot more helpful than VaDriven when it comes to asking questions about your car.

..advance use to be able to read CEL codes.
if it's not a CEL and it's a serivce light, it could be some bs like belts/oil change or something dumb like that.. the newer cars have lights that come on after like 30k miles for you to go in and get stuff done.. my moms 2003 chevy has a 'serivce' light that comes on every 3k miles to get and it's only for the oil change, you use the cars radio to clear the light. not sure on your car tho, either way, good luck!

BTW, with a blower you can consider your warrany voided. I dont care about the Magnusson Moss Act, you wont win unless its your lifelong dream since Pontiac has more money and time to throw at a lawsuit than you do.
You want to play you have to pay.

If it's just a service light, then look in your owner's manual to see if it tells you how to reset it.
