ECD is a pretty good group of guys and gals that appreciate anything old and unique. Some of them do things that aren't my cup of tea but some of them certainly appreciate my 88 BMW with the blacked out grille. Bout the closest I'll ever get to a VW without being a VW. My buddy hangs with them from time to time. He has a project MKIII (?) Golf cabrio...

Yea I like those guy's and Joe (el jefe) is a pretty cool doode too. When I first started hangin' with those guys I was a little intimidated as I know nothing about watercooled stuff. I think as an aircooled guy we all can find a way to get past that whole intimidation factor. I'm hoping me and Joe can work something out to have both clubs meet once a month or something like that. maybe it would help break the "ice"

Bout the same feeling I get when i hang around e46 guys here in HR... cause I know nothing about them other than the specs and all... but I haven't worked on them extensively so I don't know them like they do.
