Yes, that is a great idea.

 

Even though I'm no longer a patron because apparently money is tight when you're in college and don't have a job, but that's a good idea. Plus less of the waiting to rep the same person again.

Because I still don't see why OP is still in the green.

eng or sung has said before that the amount of rep that can be given is universal. there's no way to change it just for patrons.
