New to VW's... Anyone in the 757 feel helpful?
As the title says, I am new to VW's. I am looking to start modding out my 2004 Jetta. If there are any VW'ers in the 757 that can offer advice, please feel free to chip in.

To start with-browse www.vwvortex.com, and go to the specific genre's (MKIV for you) and you will find a lot of good information and helpful people.
They also have a technical forum for the 1.8t, the VR6, and the 2.0 depending on what you've got in your car. Suspension is probably one of the better places to start. Do a lot of research before modifying...and make sure the maintenance is done, since vw's tend to love maintenance!
Two good shows to go to are the fall and spring bugout's in manassas, va. I'll be heading that way on Sunday in my '93 cabriolet (and yep, it's slammed on coils, but I haven't broken an oil pan.....yet) Guess I'm just not low enough
