Officer Blackburn of the 3rd precinct
To tell the story Im just gonna use the email I sent to the hnic @ vb's copshop this evening. I'll also say that he responded in minutes, with this to say:
I'm in receipt of your "colorful" e-mail and have passed it on to our
Professional Standards Office. An investigator from PSO will be in touch
with you.
Ok here goes:
I understand you to be our cities Head of the cop shop. I'll get right
to the point I suppose. I've run into an officer from the 3rd a couple
times. Each time, he's always a complete ass, total power abuser, does
anything he can to provoke, and when he cant, he just...its like it
enrages him even more. Sad really. Officers name is M Blackburn. I
almost went down to IA near the pa courthouse to file whatever I can on
him today, but frankly I dont know him well enough to know why he is how
he is. Maybe hes ex spec war with some issues or something for all I
know(he had a poorly maintained ar15 in his cruisers center console
),
still doesn't give him the right to abuse the badge.
Anyway, here's the specifics. Im on my way home from the store,
groceries in the car, etc. I wont bullshit you, I was going about 5mph
over the speed limit in my neighborhood(I know all residental is 25), ok
so my neighborhood, "groveland park", right before kings grant, and
right behind a kroger they built about 5 years ago. When they built that
grocery store, all the rabbits lviing on that land came into our quiet
neighborhood, and have made it their new home, much to the dismay of
many a neighbors garden. now, Im not even have a block from my home,
making the final right turn onto fuck you car thieves avenue
Young cotton tail comes running on out like he owns the road, so I make
a split second decision, its him or my neighbors mailbox. I choose the
mailbox. In retrospect...maybe I shouldve just sped up natural selection
and put his ass into the pavement. Anyway, so I take out this mailbox,
which btw, is made of plastic but its like a damn tank...even reused it
when I fixed it for my neighbor the next morning(as well as her yard). I
stop for a second...car is operational, I could just go hom and drive up
into a lightly cluttered garage, nobody would be the wiser. I do the
right thing, I get out, I go knock on my neighbors door. She comes out
eventually, said shes already phoned emergency services, asks if Im ok,
And of course I am. neighbors start coming out, talking to each other,
but i just hang out by my car, and wait. So a little while later officer
Blackburn shows up, gets out the cruisers, sees the crowd, yells
"Anybody witness it", ? Crowd responds "No", blackburn yells "GOD
DAMNIT"...I mean what a humorless joke...anyway, he says a few words to
the homeowner, then comes over to me, asks me what happened and all.
Basically guy calls me a liar, says hes been doing this so long he knows
how fast i was going, says theres skid marks 1/8 mile down the road(man,
its pitch black outside, and hes got a shitty maglight...yea fuckin
right.) Anyway I told him all about why this happened, and do as he
instructs, to the tee. he does field sobriety, Im standing there
counting to 27 one thousand with a leg in the air, he brings me over to
the car, wastes a sealed breathalyzer straw on me, makes me blow into
that fucker for two minutes straight, not kidding, Im huffing and
puffing after. I blow straight zeros. I crack a joke, "Officer are you
sure that thing has been calibrated?" The poor guy goes apeshit yelling
at me.... Then tells me at this point, this is whats gonna happen, Im
getting a wreckless citation. Im thinking ok, whatever, nothing to be
done about it now anyway, so all my neighbors crowded around watching.
Only one of them has anything bad to say of me, an alcoholic(she
literally smelled of booze on this night, I know because my other
neighbors told me) woman said that once I "almost hit her"? I've never
met the woman, and dont care to. So anyway, we do an exchange of
information and all that. Officer tells me hes called a towtruck?(my car
is safe to drive...i mean what the hell), I ask if I can use my triple A
membership for this. He says no. Im like ok, maybe at least this'll be
over quick. half hour later tow arrives, I have to pay $120 to have my
car placed on a lift, and towed not even a block to my house, I mean
damn...my neighbors wouldve helped me roll it if Blackburn thought it
was unsafe to drive home... So I talk to my neighbor, and next day Im
out there in the morning, and done in the late afternoon(hard to cement
a post and level it when its friggin poorin rain outside).
Oh yea, and while Blackburn is talking to the homeowner, the SAME DAMN
RABBIT comes walking almost right up to HIM, to officer blackburn! I
stay where I am, and say "excuse me officer, you know that rabbit you
told me I was full of shit about? There he is. Blackburn yells "did I
tell you you could talk?!" Im going to attach pics of the skid marks,
the repairs(of which my neighbor has written me a letter saying shes
more then satisfied that I've fullfilled my end of the obligation, she
really was a nice woman), and ....you'll chuckle at this, as Im walking
back later in the early evening to photograph it all, theres
mr.cottontail, in her yard. I took a video of that, pardon my language
at the end, I really am not fond of this particular rabbit at this point
in time.

If any vb police read this, and know this guy, and give a fuck enough give him a heads up, Im willing to talk with him and hear him out. Once the PSO investigation starts, I plan to see it through though, so if he wants to squash anything, his window is closing FAST. I also have my own ace, but I know there's a few cops on this forum, and how you fellas like to circle the wagons, so I wont reveal it till it's time to.

Stupid power abusing cops. I hope he gets introuble. I dont care if hes a cop, his job description doesn't include be an ass. You should easily get this dropped in court. As of the cop he needs to have some sort of disciplinary (sp) action taken. You kinda did provoke him thought by saying those smart ass remarks though. But still i dont know how he thinks that ticket will hold up.
