anyone know where i can find open mats in Virginia beach? I'm going to show my friend some wrestling and jiu jitsu... (i've wrestled for 7 years and done bjj for a while) ... dont currently train anywhere because dont have much time/motivation for weekly workouts, but if there is a place to roll at let me kno.

I think Peabodys or one of those clubs does that jello wrestling events every tuesday or something. Not sure if they allow queers in in though. Might want to call and ask.

theres open matts at machado gustavos on saturdays from 1-3 or so. its in newport news, im sure the VB one prob has something like that too

p.s. what a great idea lets make fun of the guy that does jiu jitsu....NOT !

did you ever find a place to roll yet ? my buddy has a bungalow in his backyard and we're about to mat it up and we usually have little tourneys on friday nights if you're interested
