You can bring your own paint. And Spyder started making shitty guns after their "Shutter" which came in metallic blue and red. I don't believe that cheap automatics are of a very high quality. Expect to replace some O-Rings, and seals a long the way.

im expecting to do that anyways. i dont plan on firing full auto mostly burst. but its a pretty decent priced gun. im not lookin for anything too expensive

The spyder Imagine is your best bet for a cheap, simple maintence electro. Look into the 03 imagine, not the 04. The 04 is basically identical performance wise, it just costs about $40 more....

you close to va beach? if so i play every sunday at a private wooded speedball course. loads of fun... pm me if interested.

also about that spyder... its a good entry marker. to the people bad mouthing it are friggin tards.. o-rings and what not are basic maintance anyways, as well as oiling and cleaning. the different modes are cool but youll find yourself only using semi because any of the others destroy paint too fast. 3 burst for instance: you pull the trigger once and it shoots 3, you only wanted to shoot once, your gonna run out of paint 66% faster. and god knows how much faster on the higher setings..

if your using c02...and im guessing you are, i would recommend getting an anti-syphon tube installed. itll help against liquid c02 getting into your gun as well as help against velocity spikes.

yeah were gonna get alot of stuff upgraded on these guns. there good starter guns and really easy to upgrade. i might use 3 round burst every now and then but most of the time its gonna be on semi. we would love to come out and play. how many people normally come out? and what should i bring ?

Spyder was such a more reliable company 5 years ago when they made the basic Spyder Vertical feeds, and TL's. Now all they do is make whatever is selling from other companies. As soon as Automag started producing electro's to compete with Angel, Spyder started making pieces of shit like these to compete with them. If you're saying a $300 electronic marker is anything compared to a $1200 Angel then you are the "friggin tard". I don't think they put a different price tag on it for shits and giggles. I had to work, and repair these pieces of shit for too long to know that they are machined horribly, break paint, and aren't worth a dime.

And Anti-Siphon isint going to prevent your gun from spiking. All it's basically going to do is prevent lockup of your venturi bolt in colder weather. I'm sure Spyder put their expansion chamber on this electronic already, so an anti-siphon would be a waste of money. And if they're built on the same frames as the TL, and Shutter, then they may already have an external pressure regulator on them which is going to prevent his spiking. If you do experience any spikes, then just pick up a basic spring set for your external velocity adjustment, and switch it until you find something that works.
