Phase 4: The WRX lives again!!: T-Minus 3 weeks
After 5 months of the suby sitting and collecting dust, 5 months of selling parts, 5 months of explaining how much of a dumbass I am (usually explained with the story of how the motor went), 5 months of saving, and 5 months of searching for a new motor, the WRX will rise again!! In 3 weeks (or less, depending on shipping), a JDM Version 8 STi complete motor will arrive and be installed, and she will be back on the roads. This is so exciting for me, so I just had to share, and now no one has to ask "whats the deal with your car?"
A few specs on the motor:
2.0l semi closed deck block
Forged Rods
Hypercrueic (sp?) Pistons
AVCS Heads
8200rpm redline
Twin Scroll IHI vf37 turbo
In the car with that reflash, it should be right about 300awhp, not bad for a motor with just a reflash and exhaust.
