pulled for tint last night

Re: pulled for tint last night
I brought my old tint to court in a plastic bag and they threw it out. It sucked though, because I had to pay to get it removed. I pass the downtown police station every morning and evening, so I dont want to push my luck and leave it on or re-tint it until I move from this **** state.
Oh, and dont try to get the cheapest place to remove it either. I shopped around for the cheapest place, and they guy let the tint remover fluid run down on my door panel and bleached it out a little.

Re: pulled for tint last night
you don't have to pay the court costs if you get the shit dropped. the "processing fee" in the ticket is the same as the court costs...soooo yeah just pay the fucking ticket, it's cheaper than removing it and getting it redone.
i got one by Lexington on 81, just paid it, it's like 70-80 bucks with the "processing fee".

Re: pulled for tint last night
take a picture of a car like yours with no tint and take it in with you they will drop EVERYTHING(including court cost) but DON'T GET CAUGHT AGAIN cause they won't be as nice about it in court
EDIT: oh and the legal limit now is 50% all the way back (unless its a van or SUV with stock 20%

28...hahahaha.
i had 4%. Got pulled 3 times in a 5 month period.
And If you don't want to be hassled ever again, take off the tint yourself(cost effective). Just be VERY VERY CAREFUL taking off the back window tint as you could screw up your defroster coil things)

Re: pulled for tint last night
People are missinformed on what is the legal limit for window tint in the Commonwealth of Va.
Either pay it or get it removed. I wouldn't lie because I've had customers come back and ask me to remove the tint after they got busted again by the same cop.
35% in the back for passenger cars. 50% on the front two roll down windows.
Trucks/SUV. 50% on the front two windows. Rear can be completely blacked out.
