AFAIK the light rail won't be running out to NOB...and the majority of the morning NOB traffic is the 564 bottleneck.

Since you left OP, the roads in and around NOB are still shit, the Badge office is still shit, the traffic is still shit. They Recently opened a gate they had closed for a long time for repairs but even now it fucking sucks.

I've been at little creek for going on 9 years... I freak out if it takes me longer than 5-10 minutes to get in the gate.... I would flip my lid if I were to be stationed permanently at NOB

A normal 15 minute drive to NOB will take 45-60 minutes in the mornings. I hear Norfolk is good for career progression, but I would choose somewhere nicer if you have any other choice. If you are really looking for a change of pace, I would go to the west coast.

ill have to see what pops up on the next jass reqs...they had a commstation at dam neck i wanted to snap up but someone else took them...im hoping a billet at the commcenter in great lakes opens back up...it would be nice to spend sometime with my family and go hunting more than once every couple yrs... hopefully i can get to jump school before i come under actual hard copy orders but i know i will atleast get my EXW pin

keefboz...never heard of a IT1 Mayes...the thing is macdill might be a small base however there are alot of commands there...CENTCOM/SOCCENT/JSOC/JCSE/MARCENT/NOSC Tampa and a few other smaller commands...ive been gone for almost the past 6 months so if he came to jcse he probably came after i left... is hampton blvd still horrible? i remember hitting a few of those pot holes...lol i would have to especially careful with my classic mini...12" wheels would get swallowed up by alot of those potholes

see i came from the west coast before tampa...dont get me wrong san diego was nice...but the extremely high cost of living....horrible traffic...lack of cola and a decent bah doesnt make for being single in socal fun....but in the end well see...im interested to see how this new detailing system is going to work now that they factor in cost of moving...they might not be so apt to do a cross country or overseas move when its not around the new fiscal year...i know i have no desire to go to a NCTS or a NCTAMS...especially NCTAMS Lant/Det HR
