Default quick fix for wheel well rust?

i'm getting that signature rust spot at the end of the rear passenger wheel well right next to the bumper clip in my crx. i see it all the time even on cleaner ef's. i'm broke right now with no money to do anything ideal. i was curious if there is any cheaper body product or primer or something to just prevent it from deteriorating more, without making it look twice as ugly.

phosphoric acid in every crevice you can find.

why spend more effort to 'do it right' on a crx?

Autozone sells some stuff called Rust Converter. I am not sure what it does, or if it works, but I have seen it before.

who are you talking to?

Any phoso acid 'rust converter' will save you more money/time than cutting and welding. It is a bandaid but that's the cheapest fix you're going to find and it'll hold up for a little while.
