technic and blah; Thanks for the tips on the gas. I'll check it out.

C-16 is a bit high for my tastes. If I'm going full leaded, I've found that Turbo Blue, or Sunoco 110 is just about perfect for me.

I need to run out to that airport way out past P-mouth and see if they have any 99+ low-lead.

Found the Sunoco down on Indian River. 110 leaded and GT100 unleaded; $5/gallon. Not a bad price for 110, considering the fact that I regularly paid $7+/gallon in Jax. Fl.

Not too far of a drive from my pad to boot

its better to buy from a VP distributor by the drum. they have various different sizes.

Buying by the drum would be great, unfortunately I'm pretty sure that my apartment complex would frown on a 55 gallon sitting outside my back door.

But yeah, you are absolutely right; buying by the drum usually works out to be a bit cheaper. You save about a $1~$2 a gallon depending on the distributor.

However, (and this may just be a regional issue..) VP is pretty bad about cutting a break on bulk (25+ gal) unless you are a retail point that orders 100+ gallons or more.
The shop that I worked at in Jax got shit for a discount and we were a regional sales point until we got a better deal with Turbo Blue. We were paying what worked out to be $6.50 a gallon, and selling for $8.

Anyways, back to the topic; I've found race gas, and I'm researchig dyno facilities in the area. Admins, please lock this topic as you see fit. Thanks again for all the input guys.

Wow a GS-t having problems finding tuning shops. I wish AWD shops were as common as fwd/rwd dynos in this area. Mostly everyone is all talk about getting an AWD dyno.

here are a few shops i personally know of with dyno's

Millennium Autosports

EngineTec, Inc --> next to Va Speed
1397 Taylor Farm Rd.
Virginia Beach, VA 23453

Abacus
Baseline testing (for three test runs) is $75.00 (no air/fuel) $100 (with air/fuel).

The Dyno Shop at Balluzzo Engineering

Woodbridge Dynotech
13404 Jefferson Davis Hwy
Woodbridge, VA 703-494-5789

Townsend Racing Products
11080 Air Park Road
Ashland, VA (804) 798-8340

Performance Autosport
-3 pulls/30mins with Air/Fuel = $75.00
-3 pulls/30mins without Air/Fuel = $65.00
-1 hour = $150.00
-Full day of dyno rental = $800

There is another one that just opened but I forgot the name....

Thanks for the great gouge AWD. I'm not too familiar with the area and I'm just now starting to get into the scene around here. I'll probably end up making an appointment with Millenium to get my tuning squared up again.
