If you got to court and bring a copy of something saying that your vehicle is now inspected the judge will usually throw it out. About the front plate you could try the same thing but i think you are screwed on the front plate.

on another occasion i took pics of the car with the front plate properly displayed and dismissed.

But I've already got it inspected, saved the receipt, and put the front plate on, took some pics and pulled it back off. Ill put it back on on court day, and see if I cant get these dropped.
