I plan on taking the boat out to the Albemarle Sound and watching the fireworks for Manteo, Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills all at the same time

Not sure if it's worth it, but you can get skybar passes (1 pass gets two people up for the summer) for $200 on the roof top of the Hilton at the beach. It would be pretty sick to have a few drinks up there and chill in the pool while watching the fireworks.
