Front left knocks when I let off the gas or coast at all. Just had an Alignment and hoping it's not the CV joint.

Thanks, I know this should be in tech, but I'm looking for someone to ride with me for like 5 minutes to hear it. If it is the CV joint I'm screwed because I'm broke.

How come the CV Joint kits I see are like upwards of 150, but I can get a whole axle assembly for like 100? I've seen a few posts where you talk about getting parts, where do you work?

Bap Geon in Norfolk

The best way to replace them is the whole axle. Its more time and cost effective. Like I said I usually sell new ones for $60 and remans. for about $50.

I'm going out of my mind trying to find out what it is.

Why does this cost so much?

What you need is the whole axle.
